This is one of three paintings Drew Brophy did as a collaboration with and Good Vibe Tribe.

We went for a Sublime fan’s perfect day—live music on the beach, floating in the waves, sunshine everywhere. I got playful with it: turned Eric (the bassist) into the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland, Bud’s jamming on bongos, and Brad (who has since passed away)—represented as a big Bad Fish—watches over his son Jakob, as he sings, keeping the music alive.
